Join Gill Meller for an intimate evening in London with an exclusive 6-course feast at Sussex, Soho
On Wednesday 9th October, celebrated Dorset-based chef Gill Meller – known for his time as Head Chef at River Cottage – will be making an appearance in London for a one-of-a-kind culinary event at Sussex Bar & Restaurant in Soho.
Reuniting after years apart with his long-time friend & chef, Oliver Gladwin, the duo are set to bring their shared passion for all things local, wild, and seasonal to the forefront with a meticulously crafted 6-course feast. A celebration of the skills and philosophies they first developed together at River Cottage.
The menu will showcase the best of British produce, capturing the essence of autumn through ingredients that speak to their “Local & Wild” ethos: “What Grows Together, Goes Together.”
Diners can expect a menu brimming with the finest seasonal ingredients, reflecting the chefs’ deep connection to the countryside and their expertise in foraging and sustainable cooking, alongside award-winning English sparkling wine from the Gladwin family’s very own vineyard in West Sussex, perfectly paired to complement the evening’s dishes.
