Kaleidoscope Festival returns to Alexandra Palace Park

Back for its sixth year, Kaleidoscope Festival returns to Alexandra Palace Park on Saturday 11 July 2026, bringing together a genre-spanning line-up of music, comedy, culture and family experiences at one of the capital’s most distinctive summer day festivals.
Set across the parkland of the historic “People’s Palace”, the one-day boutique festival unfolds across three glorious stages, hidden corners, a dedicated family fun area, immersive Victorian basements, all framed by sweeping panoramic views across the capital.
From the South Slope’s natural amphitheatre, with Alexandra Palace itself forming a dramatic backdrop, to roaming performers, circus tents and underground late-night adventures beneath the Palace, Kaleidoscope blends live music stages with London sound-system culture, comedy and creativity into a festival experience unlike anywhere else in the city.
Leading this year’s lineup is chart-conquering British collective Rudimental, joined by Groove Armada for a special DJ set, UK garage pioneer MJ Cole, Black Grape, legendary drum’n’bass figure Roni Size, newly announced garage originator Wookie, DJ Paulette, The Amy Winehouse Band, and the Some Voices Choir, plus Bez’s Acid House Experience, Hip Hop Karaoke; comedy with Russell Kane, Olga Koch, Emmanuel Sonubi and Bella Hull, plus cabaret, rave nostalgia and day-to-night revelry across Alexandra Palace’s hilltop stages and hidden spaces.
Kaleidoscope’s playful, anything-goes spirit extends into a dedicated ‘Family Fun’ area, a mini festival within the festival, filled with giant bubbles, circus performances, art, theatre, science experiments and hands-on experiences for curious minds of all ages. Families can drift between the brilliantly eccentric Silly Science Show, Circus Sensible’s interactive mini–Big Top, spectacular performances from the African Acrobatics Circus and giant bubbles from The World’s Tallest Bubbleologist, alongside Family Disco Yoga, Punch & Judy shows and pop-up performances throughout the park.
Beneath the Palace itself, Kaleidoscope’s atmospheric Victorian Basements once again open to the public for an afternoon of offbeat storytelling, and a special Q&A with rave culture author Kirk Field, before the cavernous underground spaces transform as night falls. Part labyrinth, part immersive cultural playground, the basements have become one of Kaleidoscope Festival’s most talked-about experiences, offering a rare chance to explore a hidden side of Alexandra Palace not usually open to the public.
Festival Director, Simon Fell says; “Kaleidoscope Festival has been running since 2018 and has become a real staple of London’s summer. This year’s line-up is a celebration of the golden age of garage, house and drum’n’bass – the sound of London – alongside comedy, culture and family experiences. It’s a festival like no other; a place for the curious, for music lovers, for families, where you can explore our park, take in panoramic views of the capital, and even discover parts of Alexandra Palace you wouldn’t normally see.”
Kaleidoscope Festival forms part of Ally Pally’s Summer Season in the park, which also features indoor Palace shows with Empire Of The Sun (24-26–27 June) and Alabama Shakes (3 July), alongside outdoor park performances from The Maccabees (9 July), Wet Leg (10 July), Super Furry Animals (12 July), The Streets (16–18 July) and Richard Ashcroft (17 July).
