Kapara Brings Southwark’s Best Brunch To Soho

Following its success at sister restaurant Bala Baya, a bold and belly-bursting three-course brunch menu with generous mezze arrives at Kapara in Soho – a hedonistic haven where sharing and shenanigans are encouraged, both inside and outside on the enclosed sun trap terrace. Available to book across the weekend and bank holidays from 11am – 4pm, gather your group and indulge in a myriad mezze, moreish mains and delicious desserts, against a summer soundtrack that slays.

Created by Executive Chef Eran Tibi, expect a fusion of flavours inspired by his rich heritage and globe-trotting. Spanning Tunisian, Syrian, Israeli and Greek cuisine, loaded sun kissed mezze dishes include ‘Shawarma Fries’ with preserved lemon and twelve spice; ‘Mini Mess’ with blackened aubergine, oregano, tahini, pomegranate molasses and lychee; and ‘Pink Tarama’ with smoked roe, chives and lashings of extra virgin olive oil.

Take a moment for the mains as they make their menu debut – welcome to the stage dishes including the ‘Harissa & Hake’ with homemade brioche, hake tempura, harissa mayo, mustard pickle, egg and lettuce; and the ‘Salt Baked Celeriac / Lamb Kofta Shakshuka’. The hero ‘Pita French Toast’ ladened with golden sultanas, cherry compote, banana tempura, rose and honey labneh – is a must.

Desserts are oh so sweet with the likes of ‘Gramps Cigar’– brick pastry, gianduja marquise, blood organge, kumquat, chocolate soil and smoked tuile; and ‘Sticky Treat’ with medjool dates, black treacle, Baharat Chantilly and a Baharat crumble.

Drinks are as divine as the food, so fill your boots with some of the best booze in Soho. From spicy sumac cocktails to a variety of sweet house made Gazoz sodas, available with and without alcohol, and in flavours such as cherry & black pepper; orange, chilli & coriander; and strawberry & balsamic, get your glass ready and raise it to the weekend.

Perfect for vibey group gatherings, get-togethers with the girls and weekend summer catch ups with friends and family, Kapara’s brunch is available to book across the weekend and bank holidays from 11am – 4pm. Book your brunch spot now: https://www.sevenrooms.com/reservations/kapara.
