At what would be the halfway line between Craven Cottage and Stamford Bridge, The Bedford Arms pub has reopened its doors with a brand new look, following almost a quarter of a million pounds investment.

The pub on Dawes Road, has been transformed both inside and out. Now part of the award-winning Craft Union Pub Company, which is famous for putting pubs back in the hearts of their local communities, the pub has been given a new lease of life with this huge investment. Its new look and feel, together with improved entertainment offer means there is something for everyone, including those four-legged friends (it’s dog friendly too!).

The new Captain of The Bedford Arms is Gary Maynard. With a wealth of experience running pubs, Gary and his team are the best starting line-up for those match days. Speaking on the refurbishment, Gary said “The pub is looking fantastic, and we’ve already had great feedback from our guests since reopening the doors. This is clearly a much-loved local within the community and we’ve got a great offering for both the people of Fulham and passers-by to enjoy throughout the week.”

The pub’s jampacked line-up of entertainment has something happening every night of the week. Starting off the week on Mondays with the pub’s Race Day and an evening of Chase the Ace from 7.30pm, Tuesdays see an afternoon of Golden Oldies music being played from 12pm. Midweek sees the return of the pub quiz on Wednesdays at 7.30pm followed by Play Your Cards Right allowing guests to compete for prizes. Thursday nights welcome the start of the pub’s weekly music entertainment with a Karaoke Night from 8pm, followed by a Friday night DJ to kick off the weekend. Live music returns on Saturdays with a host of local bands and artists lined up to take to the stage, with Sundays seeing a more chilled-out atmosphere with an Acoustic Open Mic Night from 7.30pm.
