Airbnb and WSL Football are teaming up with She’s A Baller to invite fans to start the new season with a night of interactive experiences, exclusive player access and FREE food, drinks, customised T-shirts and more in the heart of Shoreditch. ⚽

Kicking off from 6.30pm on 2nd September, fans will hear from some of the game’s biggest names during a live panel hosted by Priscilla Anyabu – founder of Girls Are Playerz Too, an organisation championing women in sport. Joining her are England record cap holder Fara Williams and Lionesses and Arsenal midfielder Georgia Stanway, who will share their behind-the-scenes stories, hopes for the season ahead, and the realities of moving clubs and making a new city feel like home.

The latter is particularly timely as Georgia has just been one of the many players to utilise Airbnb’s new £1 million Player Accommodation Fund – which aims to help women’s football players find a home when moving clubs, by offering short-term accommodation when they need it most, as they settle into their new city.

Alongside the panel, fans can put their skills to the test in a 1v1 panna cage, personalise a T-shirt with their own name and number, create their own customised keyrings with footie-charms as well as bouquet making. There will also be a photobooth and temporary tattoos designed by Gracie Dogood – a tattoo artist and friend of Georgia Stanway, plus food, drinks and a live DJ – all celebrating the players and supporters driving the women’s game forward.
