This past Sunday, the popular restaurant proudly sponsored and organized their first Amigos Cup in partnership with the Elite London Academy (ELA), demonstrating its commitment to supporting young talent and fostering a love for football. Held at the Alec Reed Academy on June 2nd, the atmosphere was electric as seven teams of 10 young players each took to the field.
The Amigos Football Cup wasn’t just about winning; it was about providing young football enthusiasts from diverse and often challenging backgrounds with a platform to showcase their skills and passion for the sport.
Owners Waqas ‘Wax’ Siddique and Kasim ‘Kaz’ Akhter were on hand to present the trophies, joined by musician Flintz, who added a touch of star power to the proceedings. The joy on the kids’ faces as they received their awards highlighted the event’s success and the positive impact of uniting the community through sport.
