Bringing the soul of the Alps to Marylebone, Kitchen at Holmes transforms its Baker Street terrace into a cosy alpine retreat. Escape to the mountains as you dine on alpine-inspired dishes, Jameson Black Barrel whiskey cocktails, and tucked way above, is a newly-refurbished secret rooftop cinema screening festive favourites under the stars.
Opening on 21st November, the newly expanded heated Baker Street terrace channels après-ski spirit complete withretro ski touches, seasonal foliage, exposed wooden decor and twinkling lights.
On the menu, expect comforting mountain flavours with dishes of Porcini Mushroom Vol-au-Vents; Smoked Salmon Blinisand a Welsh Dragon Hot Dog with braised onion, cheddar, paprika and oregano pomme allumettes; all best finished with a sharing Mont Blanc. Meanwhile at the bar, toast the season with limited-edition cocktails created in partnership with Jameson Black Barrel Whiskey, including the Old Fashioned, Bombardino or Irish Spritz. Every Friday, the night comes alive with après beats from a live DJ.
Alongside the Baker Street terrace, hidden high above the hotel, the newly renovated rooftop cinema offers another slice of alpine charm. Decorated with soft twinkling lights and cosy blankets, the eight intimate comfy seats will be home to festive screenings of classics like Love Actually, The Holiday, Elf and How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Each movie night ticket includes a seasonal three-course set menu in the ground floor restaurant before the film (£85pp or £95pp with a glass of champagne).
Whether stopping for a winter cocktail after a day of shopping, celebrating the season with friends or wanting a romantic date night under the stars, Kitchen at Holmes is bringing mountain magic to Marylebone this season.
