The Mall, Wood Green welcomed internationally-renowned doughnut company and coffee shop, Krispy Kreme, to the shopping centre on 27 June.

In celebration of the new store’s official arrival at The Mall Wood Green, Krispy Kreme delighted shoppers with a special launch event, which kicked off with an introduction by Craig Evans, Krispy Kreme’s UK New Store Openings Manager, who was ably assisted by the company’s mascot.

With giveaways galore, the first three customers all received exclusive Krispy Kreme gift cards, while others were thrilled to get branded goodie bags. Shoppers were able to sample the store’s sweet treats and try their luck on the Spin-to-Win wheel, where winners were treated to a selection of sweet treats.

The new store, which is located between Ernest Jones and Boots on the ground floor of The Mall, attracted hoards of shoppers at the launch. Speaking at the event, Gwendolyne Lobo, The Mall’s Marketing Manager, commented: “Krispy Kreme is going to be a great addition to The Mall. Given the fantastic reaction from our customers at the launch event, we have no doubt whatsoever that the store is going to be extremely popular.”

Craig Evans added: ‘We’re so happy that our Wood Green fans had fun at the opening. It was a great morning spreading the joy of Krispy Kreme throughout the shopping centre. We will be delighting Wood Green fans even more with an upcoming competition, so keep your eyes peeled for more info!”
