La Bomba Halloween Ball – the original latin rave returns

London’s original Reggaeton mega rave, La Bomba, returns to set the dance floor ablaze on Friday October 27th with rooms of music now re-located to Vauxhall’s renowned Fire Club.

London’s original Reggaeton mega rave, La Bomba, returns to set the dance floor ablaze at its new home, the renowned Fire Club. Circle your calendars for a night of pulsating rhythms on Friday, October 27th, for a historic occasion that sees the reunion of original resident DJs Jose Luis and El Moreno for the first time in nearly a decade, celebrating Halloween with a very Latino Day of the Dead theme.

La Bomba, the trailblazing force that pioneered London’s Reggaeton movement, initially took root at the now-legendary Hammersmith Palais. It soon solidified its status as one of Ministry of Sound’s most beloved events for nearly a decade. During this era, La Bomba even secured a two-year residency at Pacha Ibiza and embarked on exhilarating tours across the UK and Europe. This legacy paved the way for the wave of Reggaeton parties that now grace the capital’s nightlife.

Fast forward almost two decades, and Jose Luis has become a powerhouse in the UK’s Latin music scene, co-founding the annual 10,000+ capacity Latino Life In The Park Festival, and Latino Life magazine. Last year Jose co-founded Candela Records, the UK’s first record label dedicated to Urban Latin Music in partnership with Warner Music (behind the explosive “Hot Steppa” anthem from Angelo Flow over 800K plays).

El Moreno returned to live in the Canary Islands, where he remains the top Urban DJ, jet-setting across Europe to headline the hottest parties from Madrid to Berlin. Together, they are poised to transport attendees back to the original essence of Reggaeton, emphasising a music policy deeply rooted in the timeless sounds that catapulted the genre into the mainstream during the early Noughties.

This event is an exclusive over 25s affair, uniting those who cherish the original Reggaeton sound over the more commercial, pop-driven Reggaeton of recent years.

In the Tropical Room, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant melodies of salsa and bachata, courtesy of DJ Frank, one of Colombia’s finest DJs in the UK.

La Bomba promises an unforgettable night of music as it journeys back to the roots of Reggaeton.
