Good mourning, Pork is dead! French plant-based food brand La Vie™, is giving the traditional fry-up and English caff, a makeover.
On Thursday 29th October, Londoners are being invited to say au revoir to pork as they know it, as the French food company brings ‘Le Full French’ to one of the capital’s most iconic greasy spoons, Terry’s Cafe, for one day only. And all the food is on the house!
From 12:30pm – 4:30pm, 100 free meals* are up for grabs at Terry’s Cafe on Great Suffolk Street, thanks to La Vie, available on sign up for on Eventbrite. Dishes will include La Vie’s plant-based bacon and ham taking centre stage, alongside Terry’s signature breakfast and brunch item, the Billingsgate roll made with oyster mushrooms and La Vie™ bacon, and French Toast with La Vie™ bacon & ice cream. They’ll also be free La Vie™ goodies and products for attendees.
The classic caff is being reimagined entirely without meat and for one day only, pork is dead at Terry’s. Expect all the nostalgia of a traditional greasy-spoon breakfast, with a French twist and a menu that proves you don’t need a pig to have a fry-up to die for.

With the tongue-in-cheek theme ‘Pork Is Dead’, guests are invited to pay their last respects to traditional bacon and tuck into a meal that proves you don’t need a pig to have a fry-up worth getting out of bed for.
