Land Sheriffs enters exciting new chapter as Head of Operations becomes Managing Director
Land Sheriffs provide security services for clients primarily in the rail industry. With 20 years’ experience, they deliver services ranging from protecting land and infrastructure, to on-train security and crime prevention measures.
With a 24-hour CCTV room and a team of skilled security professionals, they provide service which includes mobile patrols and manned guarding across the rail network and other public and commercial locations.
Having spent five years as Head of Operations, James Coyle’s performance and experience have led to him being promoted to Managing Director.
“I’m really excited to be taking the reins as Managing Director, following Tyler’s successful tenure as he steps into a new strategic role as CEO” says James Coyle, Land Sheriffs’ new Managing Director. “My goal is to ensure that we continue delivering high-level security services to our clients, prioritising passenger safety and keeping trains moving.”
James Coyle takes over senior leadership responsibilities for the firm from Tyler LeMay, who has been Managing Director for the last 10 years and is now stepping into the role of CEO.
“I’m pleased to be passing on the role of Managing Director into James’ very capable hands! While I focus on developing the business as CEO, it will be great to work alongside James as we ensure the business runs smoothly and align our strategic objectives and goals” says Tyler LeMay, CEO of Land Sheriffs.
As Managing Director of Land Sheriffs, James will be responsible for the overall success of the business by executing strategies, implementing operational changes, identifying new business and targeting long-term goals.
On top of this, James aims to implement a new marketing strategy, pursue a range of accreditations and focus on ongoing sustainability goals, all whilst providing the same level of excellent service to clients.
“There are lots of exciting developments on the horizon for Land Sheriffs, not least in the run-up to the busy festive period. We’ve successfully completed our audit for our Railway Safety Accreditation Scheme (RSAS), as well as stage one of our ISO 14001 accreditation. Plus, we’re continuing to work on achieving carbon neutrality to meet our sustainability goals” adds James.
Land Sheriffs have been protecting land, property and infrastructure for clients across Britain for 20 years.
As the festive season approaches, James will be focused on leading the team as their high-level security services are required to tackle increased route crime, graffiti, trespassing and anti-social behaviour.
“One of my main priorities in the coming months, and beyond, is ensuring we remain committed to delivering our company values of respect, innovation, collaboration and integrity. Our team leads the way in providing a platinum service by working diligently and positively with the public and I look forward to growing that reputation” concludes James.
