LASTMINUTE.COM LONDON EYE GOES DARK TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR WWF EARTH HOUR

On March 25 2023, the lastminute.com London Eye will switch off its lights for one hour to support the WWF global initiative Earth Hour.

From 8:30pm to 9:30pm the London Eye will go dark in solidarity with individuals, businesses and attractions across the UK and across the globe to show its support for the global movement uniting people to protect the planet and take action against climate change.

WWF Earth Hour is an annual event, running since 2007, raising awareness of the small actions individuals and businesses can take to tackle climate change and help create a brighter future. During this hour, people and businesses are encouraged to turn off non-essential lights and unplug unnecessary electrical appliances to reduce their carbon footprint.

Imran Tauqir, General Manager of the lastminute.com London Eye, said: “We are proud to join millions of people and businesses around the world in supporting WWF Earth Hour. Switching off the lights of the London Eye for an hour raises awareness about the urgent need to take action against climate change. We hope this will inspire people to make changes in their daily lives to reduce their carbon footprint and protect our planet”.
