LCCA BA Fashion graduates showcase final collections

Recently, London College of Contemporary Arts, saw its BA fashion graduates showcase their final collections at The Glasshouse, on Brick Lane, in East London.

Hosted in collaboration with the collage’s fashion management and marketing course, the designers explored their personal innovative routes of enquiry. Elsewhere, guests such as celebrity TV personality Samira Mighty and musician Blithe Donal, sat alongside the students’ families and friends, relishing the immersive experience and creativity within The Glass House.

Clare Payne, BA Fashion Interim Course Director, at LCCA, said: “By channelling their creativity through these global lenses, the LCCA fashion graduates positioned themselves as thought leaders, dedicated to reshaping the industry for a more equitable and environmentally conscious future.”
The collections reflected a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of the modern world, touching on geopolitical tensions, technological disruption and evolving consumer values.
From exploring themes of identity to addressing concerns around sustainability, waste and resource scarcity, the designers leveraged fashion’s powerful communicative abilities to raise awareness and propose innovative solutions.
