Leading residential developer gears up to open brand-new show apartment on the site of historic Harry Potter pub
Dominvs Group, the leading London property developer, is set to open a new dressed show home to potential buyers later this month at its One Fox Lane development in Palmers Green.
The brand-new development in leafy North London has been transformed by Dominvs from a historic public house, The Fox, famous for featuring in the Harry Potter film franchise.
The scheme offers 54 stylish, modern one- and two-bed apartments over four floors, perfect for young professionals and first-time buyers. The show apartment will open on 26 June and follows a spike in demand last year with over half of the new homes already sold.
The Fox public house is locally listed and forms an integral part of the surrounding new build architecture. It is most famous for featuring in Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban in 2004, as Harry travels through Palmers Green on the colourful night bus, making it a landmark for avid film fans. In 2015, it became the London Borough of Enfield’s first Asset of Community Value.
With a glazed motif on the façade with letters spelling out The Fox, the current Edwardian public house was constructed in 1904 with a distinct red brick façade with bays, arched windows, and Tudor style dormer windows to the roofscape, sitting at the junction of Fox Lane and Green Lanes, the bustling high street.
The collection of one- and two-bedroom apartments offers high-quality specification at affordable prices. Each home has a bright, open-plan layout, with either a private balcony or terrace. The residents’ amenities include the gym, to be operated by PureGym, private parking and bike storage, and a communal landscaped garden for relaxing.
The specification of the apartments includes fully fitted kitchens with integrated A-rated appliances and sleek bathrooms with marble effect tiling. There is timber effect flooring to the hallway and living room, carpet to the bedrooms, underfloor heating, and elegant ironmongery throughout.
Dominvs has designed the scheme sensitively to complement the Edwardian architecture of the existing neighbouring pub. The Palmers Green scheme is one of Dominvs’ latest residential schemes set for completion as the Group continues to expand its residential operation across London and the UK.

Dominvs Group acquired the site in 2018, with construction well underway and the scheme set to complete late Q2 this year. The purchase was part of Dominvs Group’s drive to invest in the borough of Enfield, with a plan to develop further in London’s outer boroughs.
The apartments at One Fox Lane are priced from £387,500 to £695,000 with Help to Buy available.
