Leonardo Royal Hotels has partnered with Pommery, alongside Pink Flamingo Rosé from the Vranken-Pommery group and premium tea brand JING Tea to introduce La Tea en Rose, a delicious, new rosé -led afternoon tea offering launching across its Royal properties in London and Birmingham.
Designed as a fresh take on a much-loved tradition, the experience places drinks at the heart of the occasion, pairing elegant pâtisserie and savoury bites with a curated selection of Champagnes, rosé wines, and premium loose-leaf teas.
The food offering blends heritage with more contemporary, flavour-led combinations. Guests can enjoy a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, from poached salmon with dill crème fraiche on granary bread to beetroot hummus with rocket and feta, alongside lemon and thyme grilled chicken with coronation mayonnaise. A dedicated vegetarian menu offers equally vibrant options, including cucumber and mint crème fraiche, Barber’s cheddar with tomato chutney, and egg mayonnaise with rocket.
Freshly baked scones are served warm, with generous helpings of clotted cream and jam, followed by a pâtisserie selection that leans into both indulgence and elegance. Highlights include a strawberry and Darjeeling éclair, a light raspberry and vanilla Battenberg, a rosé Champagne macaron, and a rich red velvet, raspberry and cream cheese delice. The Blush Classic (£40 per person) offers a refined take on afternoon tea, served with a refreshing Pink Flamingo Rosé Spritz.
The Rosé Collection (£45 per person) is elevated with a delicate Louis Pommery England Rosé, designed to complement the menu and add a sense of discovery across the experience.
For a more premium option, the Rosé Prestige (£52 per person) includes a glass of Pommery Brut Rosé Royal, bringing a crisp, sparkling serve from one of the categories’ most established names.
Pommery, part of the Vranken-Pommery estate which has welcomed visitors since 1878, brings its long-standing expertise in Champagne production and is joined by Pink Flamingo Rosé, also from the group – a contemporary, pale blush wine with a fresh, fruit-forward profile.
