LIFE-SIZED BORIS JOHNSON BEHIND CASING DELIVERED TO WESTMINSTER ON EVE OF ELECTION

A life-sized Boris Johnson behind protective glass casing has been delivered outside Westminster on the eve of the UK election.

Bemused Londoners took to TikTok and Twitter after a flat-bed delivery truck was seen transporting the former PM around London inside a glass case that read: IN CASE OF EMERGENCY BREAK GLASS.

The videos have racked over 100k views on TikTok and the delivery has already been claimed by quit smoking missionaries, Riot Labs, who simply said:

“The past few weeks of campaigning have been a sh*t show and we all needed a laugh in election week.”

As the nation prepares to go to the polls tomorrow – the Conservative’s are in crisis mode after a campaign littered with gaffs and find themselves around 20 points behind Labour in the polls.

The incredibly lifelike statue took over two months to build, measures the exact height of Bojo at 1.75m, comes complete with trademark dishevelled blonde hair and wonky blue tie – even comes guaranteed without the lies and bumbling, according to its makers.

Accompanied by two burly delivery men, Boris was carefully transported around Westminster this morningas commuters and dozens of opportunistic tourists posed alongside it.

Boris Johnson has supported the Tories from the sidelines in the past couple of weeks, but made a dramatic appearance overnight fuelling speculation it’s a deliberate move as part of a plot to return to frontline politics.

Some TikTok users seemed to celebrate the return of the former PM:

Though another user seemed less than impressed:

Riot Labs delivered the stunt to “keep vaping legislation at the top of the in-tray for the incoming Government” and get people talking. While the current Government’s Smoking and Vaping bill has been sidelined after failing to pass in May – the piece of legislation is expected to be tabled again once the new Government is in place.

Ben Johnson, Riot Labs CEO, commented:

“This year has been a tumultuous one for the vape sector, with the Government trying – and ultimately failing – to rush through unjustified new vaping laws which would have been a disaster for the vape sector and more importantly, the millions of adult smokers trying to quit cigarettes.

Whichever Government we end up with this week, smoking and vaping policy will be back on the lengthy to-do list and we’ll be taking the fight to policy makers to stand-up for the vape sector.”

Johnson added:

“We are massively in favour of laws to tackle youth vaping, such as a fully funded licence scheme for retailers – but we strongly disagree on the Government’s approach to a flavour ban.”

The Boris statue will be left in Westminster during election week, under guard, according to Riot Labs.
