Westgate House care home in Forest gate held an Open day to celebrate the start of a new era, following significant investment to the home.

Visitors were welcomed to view the home’s stylish new interior and take a tour of the home at the Open day on 18/7/2026

The hospitality team pulled out all the stops, treating everyone to complimentary refreshments, wine, bubbles and a delicious selection of food that went down a treat. Entertainment was provided by John Sessions, who had everyone on their feet dancing, singing along and asking for more. We were also delighted to welcome a very special guest, Councillor Ann Easter, who said a few words before officially cutting the ribbon to mark the occasion.
The home’s General Manager was on hand throughout the day to answer questions about choosing the right care home and the range of services available at Westgate House.
