LOCAL CARE HOME HOSTS SCAM PREVENTION TALK

Chestnut Gardens in Purley is opening its doors to members of the local community for an Emergency Services Safety Talk on Tuesday 9th June at 10am. Friends and neighbours are invited to join residents and staff for an educational talk free of charge.
Beth from Barclays will provide information on how to avoid scams and answer any questions guests may have. Staff and residents at the home came up with the idea of hosting an educational event to support members of the community to feel safer within their environments and help them to be more informed. Guests will also have the chance to enjoy light refreshments, chat with the care home team and connect with others. Do come along to learn how to stay safe from scammers.
General Manager Gayane Selimyan at Chestnut Gardens Care Home comments: “We are delighted to welcome Beth from Barclays to the home. Talks like this are incredibly valuable for the people we support and the local community. It’s a great opportunity to seek advice and information to protect yourself from fraud and scams. Please RSVP to Gayane.Selimyan@barchester.com if you would like to attend.”
