Staff, residents, and relatives recently came together at Peony Court Care Home to enjoy a fun-filled summer BBQ held in the home’s beautiful grounds, whilst also celebrating five years since the home first opened its doors.
The hospitality team at Peony Court served a delicious selection of BBQ favourites, including grilled chicken, beef burgers, hotdogs, potato salad, Mediterranean couscous, and coleslaw, which were enjoyed by everyone who attended the event.
The BBQ welcomed residents’ families and friends, and staff members. A lively Western and country-themed celebration set the tone for the day, with themed decorations, music and activities creating a festive and lively atmosphere. A special anniversary cake was also presented to mark the home’s fifth anniversary, making the occasion even more memorable.
Resident Joyce said: “I thoroughly enjoyed the day surrounded by lots of lovely people. Thankfully the weather held out until we finished. Staff did a great job organising the event and getting everyone together.”
