Local care home partners with local school for Christmas Carol
Heavenly voices rang out at Hugh Myddelton House as the community came together to celebrate Christmas with a carol concert.
Staff and residents at Barchester’s Hugh Myddelton House care home, Southgate, got in the Christmas spirit by inviting the community to come and join in with a carol concert to sing some festive Christmas favourites. The singing was from West Grove Primary School.
It was a heart-warming experience for everyone and we can’t wait for more visits like this in the future. Thank you to West Grove Primary school for brining joy to our residents.
General Manager, Jade Shea said: “We are so lucky to have such a fantastic community here at Local Primary School Singing Christmas carols is such a lovely tradition, I’m so glad we could invite our friends and neighbours to come and join in us.”
Freda resident at Hugh Myddelton House said: “I love to sing Christmas carols so it was wonderful to hear all my old favourites sung so beautifully by the children, there really is nothing better than a good old singalong!”
