Local Irish Dance School Is Dressed To Impress With Training Jackets
Celtic Hearts Irish Dance steps into competition in style due to the recent sponsorship from housebuilder Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes North Thames’ division, which has provided the group with new training jackets.
To support the local club, Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes’ sponsorship will help provide the two teams and six solo qualifiers heading to compete in the CLRG World Championships with new training jackets, which were unveiled in a recent training session ahead of the competition.
Founded in 2009, Celtic Hearts Irish Dance is a family-run business in Watford that strives to provide the best possible experience for its students, believing in the importance of preserving Irish culture and tradition through dance. The dance school offers a variety of classes for all ages and levels taught by qualified teachers, designed to provide a fun and challenging environment for students to learn and develop their skills in Irish dance.
Martina Skehill, Founder of Celtic Hearts Irish Dance, comments: “The support from Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes has been fantastic in helping us provide our dancers with new jackets for the most prestigious event in the Irish Dance world. When our dancers look the part, they feel the part and are ready to represent our dance school with pride.
“For small, community-based clubs like ours, donations like this are vital. They allow us to give every child the chance to feel special and included regardless of their background. We are looking forward to seeing our dancers arrive in style in Dublin at the end of the month!”
Marc Woolfe, Director of Sales and Marketing at Barratt David Wilson North Thames, adds: “Supporting grassroots clubs and local initiatives isn’t just about funding a project, it’s about investing in the heart of the community. These clubs are where confidence is built, friendships are made, and young people discover their potential.
“We are proud to support the incredible young dancers at Celtic Hearts Irish Dance and are excited to see them looking sharp in their new training jackets. The North Thames division wishes them the best of luck in Dublin, and we will be cheering them on every step of the way.”
Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes is building a range of new homes across Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire, in locations such as Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard and Houghton Regis, with a development in Hemel Hempstead coming soon.
