Local man wins national competition to front major campaign by functional drinks brand MOJU

A local menswear merchandiser from Greater London has been chosen to front a national campaign for functional drinks brand MOJU, after sharing his real, unfiltered reaction to the brand’s bold and fiery functional shots.

Neil Mendoza from Bracknell joined hundreds of people to step into a MOJU giant, interactive, custom-built photo booth which was temporarily located at Westfield Stratford in London last month and captured the public’s visceral reactions – or ‘BOOM faces’ as MOJU calls them – to its shots.

At the time, everyone’s live-shot BOOM faces were projected instantly onto Westfield’s iconic billboard and they all received a personalised MOJU dosing bottle featuring their photo to take home, which was dispersed by the photo booth instead of snapshots.

Neil was also chosen by MOJU to front the brand’s biggest ever ‘Bring on the Boom’ campaign for having the best BOOM face and invited back for his own VIP photoshoot.

There, Neil had new portraits taken and received a year’s supply of MOJU shots – with his best shot still set to appear on high-profile billboards across the UK in January 2026, reaching 50 million people nationwide.

Neil said: “I’m so thrilled I won MOJU’s competition. This experience has been so much fun and I’m beyond excited – and a little shocked – at the thought of being part of the next MOJU campaign. A huge thanks to the amazing MOJU team for the opportunity and an even bigger thank you to my brother for encouraging me to participate. Sometimes that extra push makes it all!”

Leigh Kilby, Head of Brand and Creative at MOJU, added: “Our ‘Bring on the Boom’ campaign is all about celebrating the unique experience our customers have when they shot MOJU – that instant, fiery hit and the unfiltered reaction that follows. No one showed that better than Neil and we can’t wait to see his face lighting up screens across the country in the new year.”
