Local nurse is shortlisted for Exceptional Care Home Nurse of the Year Award
Staff and residents at Barchester’s Bushey House Beaumont care home in Bushey are celebrating because their much-loved Deputy Manager, Nolawtee Moorut, has been shortlisted in the Exceptional Care Home Nurse category of the Stars of Social Care Awards. This award category is specifically to reward people that go above and beyond to offer their residents exceptional service.
The awards, which are split into Home Care and Care Home categories, shine a light on the stars of social care, paying tribute to the workforce, who through dedication and a commitment to care, go above and beyond to support those who are most vulnerable in our society.
Nominations were received from homes and hospitals across the UK. All entries were a very high standard and so the staff and residents at Bushey House Beaumont are over the moon that their superstar nurse has been shortlisted, beating hundreds of other nominees to make the final line up. The awards take place on June 21 and then Nolawtee Moorut will know if she has been crowned the winner.
General Manager of Bushey House Beaumont, Mary Jane Bague said: “It is so wonderful for Nolawtee to be recognised for doing the job that she loves. Everyone at the home is delighted for her and so proud, Nolawtee is already a winner in our eyes no matter what happens on June 21!”
