LONDON-BASED ENTREPRENEUR JOINS GOK WAN, US PRODUCERS & 7 FIGURE BUSINESS OWNERS ON STAGE THIS MONTH
An ex recruitment specialist turned entrepreneur, who has built a business supporting mothers seeking flexible, high-earning careers is set to join the likes of Gok Wan, US producers and publicists, Apprentice stars and Forbes 30 under 30 entrepreneurs, to take to the stage at the UK’s fastest growing personal and professional development event in front of an audience of 800 people, this month.
Turning to public speaking to share her inspiring story and knowledge around how she’s built a thriving multi 6 figure sales consultancy helping business owners grow. Neurodivergent entrepreneur Leah Gregory, 40, from London hopes to show others what’s possible.
She will be sharing advice on ethical, heart-led sales strategies that help service-based business owners make more money and more impact without pushy tactics, as she is given a stage, an audience of 800 people and a challenge to ‘start conversations that matter’, on 27th and 28th March at The Big Festoon.
An event focused on ‘enthusiastic inclusion’ and bringing people together across different backgrounds and lived experiences, actively celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community, global majority, and neurodivergent communities, The Big Festoon was created by motivational speaker and event producer Dani Wallace, who has just been recognised by Attitude Magazine as one of the top 10 business owners supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. As a neurodivergent entrepreneur with undiagnosed ADHD that led her to drop out of college at 17, Leah is excited to be a part of it, and has trained for the last 6 months for this moment.
Leah said “Inclusion being a real focus for this event really means a lot to me as someone who struggled with undiagnosed ADHD throughout my education and early career. I’ve seen firsthand how many women, especially neurodivergent women and mothers, feel forced to choose between financial success and time with their families, and I want to prove that you don’t have to sacrifice income for flexibility.”
Having grown up and developed her career in London, Leah is excited to represent the region and spread her message further and wider. Leah said; “I want people to leave my talk feeling empowered about their relationship with sales and money. My mission is to help more good people make money, because when the right people have financial freedom, they make better decisions for themselves, their families, and their communities.”
On being given a prestigious platform through which to share their message Leah Gregory, 40, from London said: “This is a big deal for me. Standing up on stage is one thing, but being a part of an event of this size and gravitas is something else. I am excited to step up and share my message but also slightly terrified at the thought of it. When I see how my heart-led sales approach has helped transform my clients businesses from struggling to consistently making sales, I made the commitment to myself to get more visible and help more people and share my knowledge and I’m excited to have the opportunity to do that.
My business is very purpose fuelled and so speaking within an event about empowerment and community and knowledge sharing to spark ideas, is a great fit. I hope between us all we can inspire and motivate and get people focusing on all the positives within their worlds and realising they are more powerful than they think, rather than getting totally bogged down in all the worries that the current climate brings”.
Leah added: “I am also absolutely thrilled to be in the same room as some truly inspiring individuals. I’m looking forward to hearing from reality star Jaxon Feely, freshly nominated in the LGBTQ Awards for his win on Celebrity Hunted 2024 for increasing LGBTQ+ visibility, and Apprentice star and Forbes 30 under 30 Bianca Miller who I’m looking forward to getting some insights from – then getting to meet the one and only Gok Wan who’s DJing at the after party is going to be a very fun finale for sure”
Dani said: “What we do at The Big Festoon is like no other event. It’s about community – about finding your place, and being a part of something. We bring people together in a place that feels safe, a place that’s inclusive, warm, and fun, and we explore topics that we don’t always get to talk about. This helps everyone see things through new perspectives, and makes conversations so rich. I learn so much every single time! I am so excited to see Leah take to the stage, and take up some space with her message. What she has to share is so powerful and needs to be heard by more people!”
Leah established her business in 2016 after a successful recruitment career and has gone on to generate millions in sales without pushy sales tactics and has already helped hundreds of coaches and service-based business owners achieve financial independence while maintaining work-life balance. From her early days as a top performer in telesales at 18 to her current role running a sales accelerator and a small but highly trained sales team consisting entirely of mothers seeking flexible, high-earning careers, Leah has proven that sales success doesn’t require pushy tactics or sacrificing family time.
