Hashim, 27, from London, is saving a whopping £2,000 per month to put a deposit down on his first family home by offering his skills on community marketplace, Airtasker UK.

Hashim joined Airtasker in July 2021 after being made redundant. Airtasker quickly became his main source of income and a passion project with Hashim completing tasks he loves such as gardening, painting and design to provide for his family.

Averaging around three tasks per week, Hashim is bringing home staggering amounts for a day’s work including £350 to tend to a client’s flowerbeds and £750 for a painting job.

“Airtasker has been life changing for me. With a wife and two children to support, alongside part-time studies, I’m amazed at how much I’ve been able to earn in my spare time.”

The people Hashim meets on Airtasker and the money he has made have put Hashim’s mental health and happiness at an all-time high. As a result, it has given him the confidence to start his own design business, Helius Designs, and he has even created his own app which combines his two passions, creativity and technology. By building a trusted client base from jobs he completes on Airtasker Hashim is able to be his own boss and provide for his family.
