John Jacob has been crowned the UK’s ultimate Swiftie, now taking on the role of London’s Taylor Swift tour guide. The tour has been created by leading global online travel marketplace, GetYourGuide and Urban Saunters.

To mark Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour arriving back in London this August, End Game Swifties will be able to attend the ultimate London tour, visiting and hearing about the popstar’s personal and lyrical experiences of the Capital, ahead of her performances.

The winner, John, was selected after submitting a post on Instagram, where he declared his love and passion for Swiftie and the travel industry, having been a tour guide for many years making him the perfect fit. The tour will be provided by both GetYourGuide and Urban Saunters, and has been curated in partnership with John, the Swiftie mastermind who gathered all of his knowledge into this Taylor-made tour.

The experience, which is available from 13th August, features popular locations including The Black Dog pub, which is referenced in Taylor Swift’s most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department.

The price has been set at £13.13 to pay tribute to the singer’s lucky digits. Explaining the significance of the number, Taylor said: “I was born on the 13th. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks.”

The tour kicks off in an iconic black cab, consumers will jump in their very own getaway car, to visit the spots Taylor knows all too well, providing non-stop photo opportunities for End Game Swifties
The tour will also head to the West End, which Taylor mentions her love for in ‘London Boy’, before stopping at Soho house for a walk to Denmark Street to take part in a Swiftie-inspired silent disco
Continuing to Thirteen LDN, travellers will head to try Taylor’s favourite cocktail bar before heading to Camden Market to pick up some Swiftie merchandise
The final leg of the tour will see travellers stop for food at The Kentish Town, before being dropped off to have a final round of drinks while taking part in the ultimate Swiftie quiz

I applied for the role because I’ve been a Swiftie since I was 13 years old and the whole concept of being able to work and talk about something you love is the best thing ever.
