London firm Grunberg & Co celebrate its talented team with a round of promotions
Several up and coming staff members at leading London accountancy firm, Grunberg & Co, have been promoted as the firm continues to enjoy excellent growth.
Charlotte Berneye, Fatima Matar and Shail Phlora have all been appointed to new roles as part of the firm’s drive to recognise and reward talent within its ranks.
Charlotte has been made Audit & Account Manager at the practice having originally joined the firm as one of its original apprentices under its structured apprenticeship programme launched several years ago.
Described by colleagues as a ‘great all-rounder’, she has acted as a mentor to junior staff for several years and is always looking at new ways of assisting the Partner team and her fellow colleagues. As one of the firm’s youngest managers, she has been declared as ‘one to watch’ at the firm for her excellent work with clients.
Meanwhile, Fatimar Matar joined 15 months ago having previously provided company secretarial services to a similar firm. Fatima was excited about the prospect of setting up a new department with our firm to expand her expertise and personal development.
Fatima now heads up the CoSec department and has quickly risen to manager level, supported by a CoSec Administrator who is progressing well under her guidance. This achievement reflects Fatima’s valued expertise in providing CoSec services to our client base and staff.
The firm’s final recent promotion sees Shail Phlora promoted to the position of Assistant Office Manager, where she will support the Partners and Office Manager in the running of the firm’s offices in Colindale and the City of London.
Prior to her promotion, Shail worked as an Administration Assistant, assisting on various duties from facilities to organising social events.
Shail has demonstrated her dependability and unflappable nature at getting matters resolved to keep the office running smoothly. More recently she has been pivotal in the successful management of the firm’s apprenticeship program, where she has proven herself to be an excellent organiser and facilitator.
Robert Bean, Managing Partner at Grunberg & Co, said: “We are delighted to be promoting these three exceptionally talented members of staff. Each has shown that they are committed to not only providing excellent services to our clients, but also that they can support their colleagues.
“We are really proud of our growing team at Grunberg & Co, which reflects our ambitions to become one of the UK’s leading firms of accountants and a gateway for international business.”
