This Friday 7^th December at 7pm-11pm, Louie Louie & Funkiwala Records present “Lokkhi Terra meets Deli Sosimi” live right in the heart of Zone 1. Head to Elephant & Castle to watch a very special sound-clash featuring 8 piece London fusionistas LOKKHI TERRA with ex-Fela Kuti keyboardist and legendary UK Afro-beat ambassador DELE SOSIMI.

First in the series, this concert is held in the beautiful surrounds of the Sir John Soane designed Grade 1 listed St Peter’s Church, Walworth, a building at the heart of the community.

This London fusionistas collaboration has been bubbling away for a few years now, teasing audience expectations with a handful of sold out shows each year in between both bands busy schedules.

Louie Louie is a cafe/bar/restaurant hybrid on the Walworth Road SE17. Delicious coffee & contemporary food by day meets cocktails, hifi music & neighbourhood dining by night. Thanks to a “Representative Music Residencies” grant from Arts Council England, Louie Louie is able to present live music & workshops both at the venue and in the community.
