LONDON HOSTS THE WORLD’S FIRST HULAMARKET WHERE ENERGY IS THE ONLY CURRENCY

Lucozade Energy has opened the world’s first ‘Hulamarket’ where the only currency is energy, and customers will have to hula hoop to purchase the goods available.

Until Sunday 10th of October, people will be able to exchange their positive energy for a range of items by visiting the Hulamarket that is located on Exmouth Market, London.

Goods up for grabs include all the favourite flavours of Lucozade Energy, merchandise, an Xbox Series S and more. Those that can hula for over one minute will be in with a chance of winning the Xbox Series S.

The Hulamarket has been opened by the energetic Jamie Laing, who put his hula hooping to the test before enjoying his favourite Lucozade Energy Orange.

The announcement follows a wider commitment from Lucozade Energy who has recently partnered with UK-wide youth development platform, Apprentice Nation, to support young people in capitalising on their ambition to unlock their potential. A donation for each bottle sold at the Hulamarket will be given to the platform.

Zoe Trimble, Head of Marketing at Lucozade Energy, comments:
“Energy is more than what keeps us going, it is our power and source to unlock our goals. Opening the first Hulamarket is a fun and immersive way for our customers to get active and earn the drink they love by spending nothing other than their energy and a bit of time.”

TV personality, Jamie Laing, comments:
“I used to be the king of hula hooping at my primary school sports day and it’s good to see those skills have come in handy again at the Hulamarket! When you bring your positive energy you have a better day, and it’s brilliant that Lucozade Energy are encouraging people to spark a positive change in their day.”
