London is the UK’s top thrift shopping city, new study reveals

London has been crowned the UK’s best city for thrift shopping, a new study by Betway reveals.

Using data from Yelp, the team took the populous cities around the world and searched the number of thrift shops, vintage shops, charity shops, flea markets, and car boot sales in each city. These were then combined to give a total figure.

London takes the top spot as the UK’s most thrifty city, with a combined total of 262. This includes 240 thrift, vintage, and charity shops, and 22 flea markets and car boot sales.

Not to mention, the city boasts the world-famous Camden markets, which attracts over 27 million visitors annually.
