London Nursery Nominated for Prestigious Childcare Awards
Three Little Birds Nurseries have been nominated in several categories at the Nursery Management Today awards and are celebrating the recognition of its dedication to early years education.
With locations across London, Three Little Birds has been nominated for two awards – Community Nursery of the Year and Parent Engagement – highlighting the first class childcare it is providing in the local area for the future generations.
Three Little Birds Nurseries was established in 2019 by cousins James and Ed Morris who had previously worked together in family businesses for seven years – one of which was a highly successful childcare company – and have been leaders in early years education ever since.
James said: “We are so thrilled to be nominated for these categories at the Nursery Management Today awards and it is a credit to our team with their passion, dedication and commitment to providing a safe, fun and engaging environment for the children we educate and care for. We thrive on giving them the opportunity to learn, create and discover the ever changing world around them.
“We are looking forward to attending the award ceremony and treating our well-deserving team to a night which acknowledges all their efforts and expertise in the industry.”
The Community Nursery of the Year award highlights nurseries who have made exceptional contributions to the nearby community and have gone above and beyond to get involved in local activities to bring people together.
Additionally, the Parent Engagement award is granted to a nursery which has actively boosted parent engagement to extend teaching and learning outside of the nursery environment.
Earlier this year, Three Little Birds Nurseries got involved in raising money for breast cancer awareness by taking part in The Moonwalk London Charity Walk. It raised over £3,000 in memory of Parent Liaison Officer Laura Millward’s friend Jo who passed away from breast cancer in May 2021.
The Nursery Management Awards has celebrated and recognised the achievements of the nursery sector for 20 years. Hosted at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London, the National NMT Nursery Awards gathers over 700 key industry contacts to network with colleagues and celebrate the well-deserved winners, who are selected by an illustrious panel of judges.
