London property group beating the odds against COVID-19 and recession
East London based property firm aims to change the face of property management with their acquisition of another property management business, despite the UK being in recession and the middle of a pandemic.
The UK economy suffered its biggest slump on record between April and June as coronavirus lockdown measures pushed the country officially into recession. Regardless of this fact, one property firm intends to go from strength to strength and raise the bar in industry standards and customer experience. Through the acquisition of Land Commercial Surveyors Ltd, they will be extending their experience, teams, and assets to grow their existing block and estate management service under Lint Estate Management: part of the holding company Lint Group.
Lint Group was formed in 1992 and already has an extensive portfolio of teams under its wing. These include Letting International Ltd, Lint Development and Ace Crest which offers residential property maintenance and services. Now, with the acquisition of Land Commercial Surveyors Ltd, the newly expanded at team; Lint Estate Management, will provide a “one-stop shop” property management service for both residential and commercial estates and blocks. Their growth in property management comes at an opportune time, when UK house prices jump at their fastest rate in four years.1
With more people staying at home than ever, the need for support has also increased. People more than ever are relying on their local property management company for their needs. With more than 50 years of combined experience, Lint Estate Management brings an end-to-end complete property management service to the table. This acquisition not only extends their reach and capabilities which is beneficial for their clients but also ensures that critical jobs are not lost in these uncertain times. This is welcome news when job losses in the UK hit an all-time high during the pandemic. 2
Lint Group are not only experts in their field but are always at the forefront of taking local community action especially during this COVID-19 crisis. Lint Group were active members of the drive to “Feed the NHS Heroes” during the first major outbreak of COVID-19 in the UK back in May. They sponsored hot meals daily for King George hospital in Redbridge and Queens Hospital in Havering. Land Commercial Surveyors also picked up the baton and donated 10% of all agency fees in June and July and donated this to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
During a crisis such as COVID 19, Lint Groups clients need support more than ever. Whilst other firms may shy away from the challenge, Lint Group’s Managing Directors, Rizz Patel and Sam Chand, are passionate about exceeding industry standards. They are focused on bringing all the essential skills in-house so they can serve their customers to the highest standard.
Rizz Patel says “Our success has been forged through our experience and commitment in what we do. We are really excited with our expansion and the additional members joining the team at Lint Estate Management. We intend to raise the standards in the block management and the estate management industry. This year will surely go down in history, not just for the Covid-19 pandemic, but for the many ways in which people are choosing to stand together, join forces and support each other. This new acquisition is symbolic of our intention to continue supporting our community and customers through difficult times.”
