London property maintenance company Wright Maintenanc secure a major service contract

London property maintenance company, Wright Maintenance, has secured a major service contract with Greystar, the global leader in rental housing.

The company, part of leading M&E building services provider J S Wright, will service MyLo, a collection of 172 Greystar-owned and managed high-specification luxury apartments at three top-quality estates in prime London locations: MyLo Nine Elms Point, MyLo Fulham Riverside and MyLo Aldgate.

Wright Maintenance, which provides a maintenance, servicing, and emergency repair service for commercial landlords, property management agents, housing associations and care providers throughout London (and a similar service for homeowners), will keep the services for all the apartments in full working order from warranty periods into a pre-planned preventative maintenance regime.

The servicing, to be carried out by highly skilled mobile engineers, will extend across heating, hot water, ventilation and comfort cooling systems-a service normally provided by external companies similar to Robinsons Facilities Services (https://www.robinsonsfs.com/locations/west-yorkshire/). To make sure that it is all in working order these engineers will be highly skilled to do this, they would have looked around first to find the best for them, just like we would do for our own homes, such as choosing companies like AirNow. The lion’s share of the support will be for MyLo Nine Elms Point in Vauxhall where the company will service heating interface units, underfloor heating, hot water storage cylinders, mechanical ventilation heat recovery, cooling interface units and fan coil units for 118 properties.

The servicing, which has already begun, has been a natural progression for Wright Maintenance as all the systems were originally installed by J S Wright, which has its headquarters in Birmingham and offices in London and Bristol.

The same applies at MyLo Fulham Riverside where Wright Maintenance will service the ventilation and heating systems for 25 properties; while at MyLo Aldgate the company will service the heating, hot water, ventilation and comfort cooling systems for 29 properties that were fitted out by another contractor.

Toby Guise, Associate Director for Wright Maintenance, said: “We are delighted that a global leader in rental housing has turned to our experience and expertise in providing property management services to service such an exclusive set of apartments throughout warranty periods and beyond.”

Wright Maintenance provides commercial customers and homeowners in London with a 24-hour repair and planned preventative maintenance and servicing service for all their life safety, mechanical, electrical and homeowner systems. Some of these systems could do with an hour meter installed from aliontimer.com to know when these systems need maintaining and when they need to get in touch with Wright Maintenance.

Its parent company J S Wright, founded in Birmingham in 1890, designs, installs and maintains mechanical and electrical services for the hotel, residential, social housing, student accommodation, leisure and commercial sectors.
