Noel is in long term recovery from alcoholism and addiction himself having suffered from PTSD, he has been clean for over 10 years. His own score for the ACE (Adverse Childhood Experience) study rates very highly as Noel was exposed to most of these adverse childhood experiences.
Today, Noel runs a very successful psychotherapy and consultancy business. His companies provide concierge level health and social care plans which support clients and families struggling with problems including depression, addiction, trauma, eating disorders and more. Many of these families have members in multiple countries and the company specialises in co-ordinating services internationally. Noel’s service is unique and discreet and with his team he takes care in sourcing and managing all the professionals a client may need to help them into a stable recovery, from psychiatrists and nutritionists to domestic staff and personal trainers.

Noel is a firm believer in care plans for people with complex needs, these programmes focus on providing treatment in clients’ homes and communities and evidence shows that outcomes can be greatly improved with the right support plan. Where possible, care plans are designed to prevent admission to hospital or into residential rehab facilities and, if admission is necessary, discharge and recovery is carefully planned to reduce the possibility of a relapse occurring.
In late 2019, Noel was appointed charity trustee for DrugFAM, which provides a lifeline to families, friends and partners affected by someone else’s addiction to drugs and/or alcohol and those who have been bereaved by substance misuse. The charity recently received a special recognition award at the 25th Birthday National Lottery Awards.
