New data from family safety and location sharing app Life360 reveals which pubs are set to be the busiest this December with London’s Christmas revellers having a clear ‘exit strategy’ in mind, flocking overwhelmingly to pubs adjacent to major transport hubs for their festive drinks.

The Globe in Moorgate takes the top spot, reinforcing the popularity of locations close to City commuter routes. It is followed closely by the Nell Gwynne Tavern (Charing Cross) and the Duke of York (Victoria), both strategically positioned for easy tube and train access.

Aside from the locations showcasing the desired ease of getting home, the top 10 list also reveals that office workers are not shying away from the post work day drink. With The City and Victoria dominating the list as pubs are filled with colleagues squeezing in a festive drink before the journey home.

The data also reveals an interesting look at how Brits are trying to be cost conscious when it comes to festive meet ups, with the cheap and cheerful Wetherspoons sitting at number four, five and six as busiest London pubs. Maybe down to the large group bookings without high minimum spends or cheaper price tag on a pint, it is clear that Wetherspoons are set to be popular this December.
