London’s Streambased demystifies tech jargon and boosts adoption with sci-fi adventure film

Faced with the challenge of simplifying complex concepts for a non-technical audience, London’s Streambased has collaborated with LOVELIVE Agency to transform its complex data-driven messaging into a sci-fi journey across the solar system – simplifying technical jargon to reach a broader audience of data practitioners.

It follows the agency’s delivery of a rebrand campaign for Streambased – a leader in data streaming technology – last summer. This time, LOVELIVE was briefed to raise awareness of its innovative solutions amongst an audience of 150,000 global organisations using the Apache Kafka open-source data processing system.

Using everyday language, relatable analogies, and practical examples, LOVELIVE brought the space-themed educational entertainment video to life with the voiceover of Robert Llewellyn, the Red Dwarf star who played the mechanoid Kryten in the sci-fi TV sitcom.

The film highlights how Streambased unlocks real-time insights, instantly, to inform analytics, business intelligence and workflow. It also promotes the firm’s LOVELIVE-devised tagline: Explore More Raw – shining a light on the benefits that its instant deeper data analysis software provides.
The film has just been showcased at Current London 25, the data streaming event. It’s also being utilised across the tech firm’s communications channels and sales and marketing collateral.
