Lord Mayor Michael Mainelli and investment giants back Time to Give Network charitable giving and access platform

Time to Give Network (TGN), today launches its groundbreaking platform that integrates business networking with charitable impact. TGN is revolutionising traditional business networking via unique environment which delivers meaningful connections that directly support charitable causes. The platform is a subscription- based service that enables TimeBidders (business professionals) to bid for designated meetings with TimeGivers (industry leaders and executives), with all meeting fees being donated to the TimeGivers chosen charities. This innovative model delivers dual benefits: quickly fostering meaningful professional relationships while contributing to vital causes.

The Lord Mayor of London, Michael Mainellli is one of the first high profile TimeGivers who has already signed up. Furthermore, from Thursday 3rd October to Friday 11th October, TimeBidders can bid for two unique auction opportunities: one is to meet with the Lord Mayor over coffee, the second is a tour and overnight stay the night at Mansion House. The Time to Give Network already has over 100 participants giving their time to boost the coffers of their favourite charities, including representatives from brands including executives from insurance giant Aviva and Brevin Howard and St. James’s Place.

Lord Mayor Michael Mainelli commented: “Raising money for charities is very important to the City of London, as proven by our recent City Giving Day. London is the global hub for finance, fintech and the related ecosystem, so it’s no surprise to see this fantastic development emerge here and I look forward to meeting new people via the platform and raising much-needed funds for some of my favourite charities.”

Andrew Kaufmann, TGN founder explains: “We are very grateful for The Lord Mayor’s support, and while the initial focus is to connect TimeBidders and TimeGivers within the financial services ecosystem, I believe the platform will have a much broader appeal. Therefore, to officially the launch the new service we are offering all TimeBidders a month’s free membership has started on Tuesday 1st October 2024, so that businesses and professionals, keen to directly access relevant industry leaders, can experience first-hand TGN’s transformative approach to networking and giving back, entirely at no cost.”

Marc Graveney, Chief Transition Officer at L&C Waverton, said: ““This service will help to rejuvenate the art of expanding networks in the city and beyond – there is nothing like personal, human connections to enable mutual understand and further new business opportunities. Meanwhile the money raised enables participating TimeGivers to make a positive impact and do their part in supporting causes close to their hearts, whilst contributing to company CSR goals.”
