I’m honoured to have the opportunity to be a part of visually documenting this incredible venue and highlight its importance as a musical landmark. UK wide, over 350 Grassroots Music Venues are now placed at immediate risk of closure. We hope our designs can help highlight these this and our proud to offer our support.”
Lucy Fenner, Alexandra Palace Commercial Director: “As a charity and independent venue, we are working with colleagues across the industry to bring an eclectic range artists to our stages. Together, we’ve created so many unforgettable nights, and moments people will remember forever. We love that the poster series is celebrating this – it is a brilliant initiative. Our live programme is only possible thanks to the wider live music ecosystem, so we’re delighted to see a percentage of the sales going to the Music Venue Trust, and the venues and professions that they support.”
Music Venue Trust’s COO, Beverley Whitrick: “Playing Ally Pally is a landmark moment in an artist’s career so this is a wonderful way to launch a new series celebrating iconic venues. This beautiful artwork illustrates the connection between venues and artists at a time where the conversation about valuing the places that music communities come together has never been more important. We are grateful to 45 Original and Alexandra Palace for their support and certain that there are many music fans who would love to own this print.”
