This National Noodle Day (Sunday 6th October), Marugame Udon – Japan’s favourite udon and tempura restaurant group – is air-dropping half price vouchers for its brand-new Tantan dish.

Lucky visitors to the Oxford Circus kitchen on Argyll Street from 11am – 12am on Sunday 6th October will receive a surprise airdrop of a half-price voucher for the brand new dish. To get a voucher, all visitors need to do is switch on Airdrop on their phones and Marugame will drop the voucher code to them in the restaurant. The only unsolicited air-drop you want to receive, the voucher will be redeemable immediately to order the new Tantan udon bowl.

Ideal for an autumnal day, the new Tantan dish is a warming bowl of fresh udon in rich sesame soup. Customers can choose from Tantan Chilli Chicken, udon noodles with minced chicken, spinach, onsen egg in a rich sesame soup, topped with sesame seeds, a hint of chilli oil and bonito flakes (usually £12.45) or Tantan Japanese Mushroom, udon noodles with mixed Japanese mushrooms, spinach in a rich sesame soup, topped with sesame seeds, a hint of chilli oil and seaweed sprinkle (usually £11.95).

Marugame Club members will also receive the voucher straight to their inbox, if signed up before 6th October. Marugame Club allows members to collect ‘bowl stamps’ on every visit to enjoy ongoing freebies, treats and rewards. It also gives new members two free tempura on signing up.
