MARYLEBONE VILLAGE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH-ON

On Wednesday 12 November 2025, from 3–8pm, Marylebone Village will transform into a festive wonderland for the whole family. Marylebone High Street will be pedestrianised, and visitors can enjoy an unforgettable evening filled with seasonal activities, including local market stalls, Christmassy craft workshops, late-night shopping offers, and much more.

Devonshire Street will once again be the heart of the festivities. The main stage, hosted by beloved BBC Broadcaster and local Marylebone resident Jo Good, will feature a line-up of live music and local school choir performances throughout the afternoon.

The evening promises a range of immersive and fun seasonal activities throughout the village; from Santa’s Grotto, the charity tombola, to a Ferris Wheel and fairground rides. Festive workshops can also be enjoyed including:

The pedestrianised Marylebone High Street will be transformed into a festive hub, boasting a wide array of street food stalls. Visitors can indulge in seasonal bites like mulled wine, artisan treats and hot chocolate from 28-50, Home Marylebone, LAVO, Le Vieux Comptoir, Orrery, Rococo Chocolates and The Ivy. Further culinary highlights include Frankfurter hotdogs from Fischer’s, festive sausage rolls from The Ginger Pig, Italian desserts from Carlotta, Persian bites from Naroon, Greek dishes from OPSO and sandwiches from The Italians. Both Fishworks and Blandford Comptoir will host oyster stands. Also local gym AMP will be running 30 second challenges on their stand and giving away prizes.

Visitors can also enjoy a range of in-store activations and offers from a host of retailers across the village that includes:
MISSOMA – 15% off all purchases on the night and the first 50 customers will be given free tote bags. Also refreshments will be served in the store

This year’s event will be held in support of local charity The Marylebone Project, which provides life-changing help for homeless women and is the largest and longest-running center of its kind in the UK. Visitors are encouraged to donate generously throughout the evening, with all proceeds going towards the charity’s vital work in empowering women to rebuild their lives and find long-term independence. The charity will also host a dedicated stall where families can enjoy Christmas card decorating and face painting.

Merry Marylebone launches on Wednesday 12 November with the light switch on event and will continue throughout the festive season with a series of special seasonal promotions, festive menus from local restaurants, and further activations that will all be announced shortly.
