A gifted mathematician from DLD College London has recently excelled in a prestigious, national mathematics competition, becoming one of the top 50 students in the UK.

Ryan, an A Level student at the multi award-winning school, put his problem-solving skills to the test and secured a Gold Award in the UK Intermediate Mathematical Challenge, a demanding task which encourages mathematical reasoning and precision of thought. Following his accomplishment, Ryan qualified for a much-coveted place in the ultimate challenge, the UK Maclaurin Mathematical Olympiad.

The talented student competed against 600 other top-performing entrants from across the nation in the highly-respected tournament, organised by the UK Mathematics Trust. Ryan’s skill set and determination put him top of the class, securing a Distinction and a Special Award: A Gold Medal and Book Prize to celebrate placing in the top 50 students.
