Mayhew’s Head of Operations & Acting Head of Clinic Named Category Finalist at 2023 Petplan & ADCH Animal Charity Awards
Mayhew, the leading animal welfare charity working to improve life for dogs, cats and communities in London and internationally, is proud to announce that Lisa Guiney, the organisation’s Head of Operations & Acting Head of Clinic, has been selected as a Finalist for the prestigious Charity Employee of the Year Award Category in the 2023 Petplan & ADCH Animal Charity Awards.
The Awards, for which there were 5,000 nominations, were announced at an event on the evening of Tuesday, 16th May at The Telford International Centre where Lisa was joined by colleagues from the London animal charity, including Chair of Mayhew’s Board of Trustees and Mayhew Chief Executive, Sherine Wheeler.
Lisa has been recognised for her contribution to the lives of tens of thousands of dogs and cats during her 25-year long career at Mayhew. During this time, Lisa has worked tirelessly to ensure dogs and cats receive the care, love and support they need so they are healthy, and loved for life, by communities who care for them and respect them.
Lisa works with tremendous resilience and passion and inspires her teams to go above and beyond to provide tailored, expert care and support to dogs, cats, pet owners and communities in London.
Commenting on being a Category finalist, Lisa explained, “I am honoured and proud to have been selected as a Finalist for Charity Employee of the Year Category at these important Awards. It was totally unexpected!”
