MEET YOUR MATCH: Free Wimbledon Screenings return to Eccleston Yards, serving up Belgravia’s Summer of Sport

Giant al fresco screenings of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships are returning to Eccleston Yards in July, but this year they’re kicking off a Summer of Sport in London’s quintessential, vibrant neighbourhood of Belgravia. Throughout the month, visitors can also get their sporting fix at showings of the England vs Australia Ashes test match.

From 3 July to 16 July, over 100 seats will be available across the central London courtyard; visitors can pull up a comfy beanbag, deck chair or picnic bench and soak up the atmosphere in style with on-court action going live from 11am until 8pm every day of the tournament.

There’ll also be a feast of treats to choose from, with an array of Belgravia’s restaurants, cafes and pubs offering a whole host of mouth-watering courtside delights.

Amie Wine will host a pop-up bar in Eccleston Yards, serving up delicious drinks to enjoy in the summer sun. Between games, visitors can refuel and grab a bite from a range of eateries in the yards, including treats from Biscuiteers, refreshing plant-based salad bowls from Atis and scrumptious dishes from Morena.

For those who want to keep the run of sporting fun going, the huge screens will also show the England vs Australia Ashes Test match from 19 to 23 July as well as the 27 to 31 July, while on 20 and 27 July some film favourites will be shown, perfect for an evening of family fun.

A wellness oasis in heart of Belgravia and just a five minute walk from Victoria Station, Eccleston Yards is a hub for culture, retail and dining and a stunning setting to watch the world’s best tennis and cricket, with the outdoor screen also in view for al-fresco diners on the terraces of Jones Family Kitchen and Morena.
