This Summer Bank Holiday, Mercato Metropolitano is bringing Londoners together in Elephant & Castle for a weekend packed with interactive fitness and wellness experiences, live music, and plenty of street food

The weekend kicks off on Friday 28th August, from 6:30pm, with Snap Fitness hosting an interactive pop-up for visitors of all ages and fitness levels – no gym experience required! At the heart of the event are two hands-on challenges: Blazepod reactive intelligence testing, the same reaction-training technology used by Formula 1 drivers. Visitors can track their performance on a live leaderboard throughout the evening, with top scorers walking away with prizes including gym guest passes and memberships.

On Saturday 29th August, from 10am, Mercato Metropolitano will host Dunk & Grind, a new morning social club built around great coffee, music, good company and cold plunge, following its successful launch at Protein Studios in Shoreditch earlier this month. The event offers a relaxed, alcohol-free way to celebrate the long weekend.

On Sunday 30th August, from 10am, the Bank Holiday weekend continues with a morning run club, followed by carnival sounds, DJs and rum punch flowing freely. Whether you’re looking to relax, dance, connect or play, there’s something for everyone as Mercato Metropolitano brings the weekend to a proper close.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can also enjoy Mercato Metropolitano’s line-up of more than 40 international street food traders and a game of Crazy Boules – making it the perfect destination for food, drinks and summer celebrations in Elephant & Castle.
