Independent watchmakers, Mr Jones Watches, will open a new store on Neal Street, within the creative neighbourhood of Seven Dials, this November.

The creative brand, which recently celebrated 15 years in business, has its workshops in London where the team handcraft the watches. The new store will replace the current retail offering in the Oxo Tower on London’s South Bank.

The move to Neal Street will see Mr Jones Watches triple its space, create five new jobs and secure a prime location to appeal to a new customer base of fashion and design lovers who live, work or visit Seven Dials.

Creative design agency, Seen Studios has collaborated on the design of a flamboyant and bold interior, which will house Mr Jones Watches’ permanent collection of 30 watch models, exclusive new watch releases, a personalisation station and the brand’s own range of T-shirts.

Collaboration is at the heart of the brand ethos at Mr Jones Watches. Since it was established in 2007, the brand has worked with more than 50 designers and illustrators. The new store will also give a platform to celebrate and promote the wide range of established and up-and-coming artists Mr Jones Watches works with.

Ahead of the opening Mr Jones Watches customer service assistant, Catarina Morais has illustrated an eye-catching store-front vinyl which features cartoon versions of the team, making and packing the watches.

Crispin Jones, founder and director of Mr Jones Watches, said: “As a London-based independent, it means a lot to us that we’ll soon be holding our own amongst some of the world’s most established and popular brands on Neal Street.

“We’re passionate about our local heritage. While we sell our watches all over the world online, each one is handcrafted right here in London. Moving to Seven Dials marks a new chapter for us and is the perfect way to build on our 15th anniversary celebrations.”

Liberated by the fact that most people check the time on their mobile phones or smart devices, Mr Jones Watches specialises in playful and artistic designs that each has its own unique way to tell the time.
