To continue their support for the NHS, from tomorrow M&S are introducing new, specially designed bags for life in their 560 Foodhalls, from which they’ll donate 100% of profits (10p per bag) to NHS Charities Together to support staff and volunteers caring for Covid-19 patients.

The limited edition 20p bags, which were inspired by suggestions from their hardworking colleagues, feature a rainbow and heart design – a symbol of unity during these challenging times – and a ‘thank you’.

Stuart Machin, Managing Director M&S Food said: “We’re doing our bit, as well as helping customers to do theirs, to support our NHS heroes who are working tirelessly to save lives. When everyone is facing into personal challenges, it’s been really uplifting to see suggestions – big and small – pouring in from colleagues and customers on how we can get behind our communities and key workers. We’re so pleased that we’ve been able to turn another brilliant idea into action by launching these bags to say a big thank you to the NHS.”
