MYKA, the international brand born in Madrid that is redefining the Greek frozen yoghurt category through craftsmanship, premium ingredients and contemporary design, announces the opening of its first UK store in mid July at St Christopher’s Place, one of London’s most distinctive lifestyle and dining destinations.
The opening marks another milestone in MYKA’s international expansion. With 43 stores open and more than 270 franchise agreements across 26 countries, MYKA has become one of the fastest-growing premium Greek frozen yoghurt brands worldwide. Following successful openings in cities including Madrid, Paris, New York, Miami and Mexico City, the brand continues to expand, with Hong Kong and São Paulo in the pipeline.
More than a frozen yoghurt concept, MYKA is inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle, combining premium ingredients, thoughtful design and genuine hospitality. Each store features an in-house workshop where the brand’s signature Greek frozen yoghurt is freshly made every day using authentic artisanal Greek yoghurt and premium goat’s milk kefir. At the heart of the concept is MYKA’s proprietary recipe, carefully crafted to preserve the natural qualities of traditional Greek yoghurt while creating a frozen dessert unlike any other. Rich in protein, naturally containing probiotics and renowned for its exceptionally creamy texture, MYKA offers a lighter, more authentic alternative within the frozen dessert category.
Alongside its signature Original Greek Frozen yoghurt, every MYKA store introduces two seasonal flavours that change every month, ensuring a constantly evolving menu inspired by carefully selected ingredients and Mediterranean creativity. Toppings range from handmade crumbles and fruit compotes to granolas and its signature baklava. Guests can customise their creations from MYKA’s signature bases. The result is an elevated sensory experience rooted in simplicity, authenticity, and craftsmanship.
Choosing London was a strategic decision for the brand. As one of the world’s leading food capitals, the city represents the ideal destination for MYKA’s next stage of international growth. After an extensive search, the brand selected St Christopher’s Place for its independent character, vibrant food scene and village-like atmosphere — qualities that naturally reflect MYKA’s Mediterranean philosophy.
Founded by Natalia Morales and Javier Ezquerro, MYKA was created to bring authentic Greek yoghurt back to its roots through a contemporary, design-led concept. Combining Natalia’s hospitality and pastry expertise with Javier’s international business experience, they built a brand founded on authenticity and attention to detail. The London opening marks another milestone in its ambition to become the world’s leading Greek frozen yoghurt brand
