Nancy Spains Irish Bar has Launched In Shoreditch
Nancy Spain’s, London’s latest Irish Pub, launched in the heart of Shoreditch on March 15th. Situated on the buzzing Curtain Road, Nancy Spain’s embodies the core spirit of a true Irish pub, seamlessly weaving warm hospitality, soulful live music, and beloved Irish drinks and snacks bringing something new to Shoreditch’s busy bar landscape.
Nancy Spain’s vision extends beyond the ordinary; it aspires to be the home where all Londoners,
Irish or not, can immerse themselves in the true modern Irish Pub culture. The drinks offered at
Nancy’s hinges around cocktails and whiskey, with Irish favourite Murphys on
draught as the stout of choice alongside Cruzcampo, Moretti, Neck Oil and
Nancy Spain’s own larger; crisp, clean and floral. The whiskey range includes Jamesons,
West Cork Whistler and Connemara as well as smaller brands distilled in the home county of the pub’s owners including Dingle Whiskey.
Nancy Spain’s cocktail menu is a celebration of Irish heritage, carefully crafted to weave
together the threads of Irish cultural influence and history with an array of cocktails inspired by famous writers and culture of Ireland.
Barry’s Pornstar takes elements form the much-loved martini with the addition of Barry’s Tea, an iconic Irish brand, to bring depth of flavour and bitterness. Next up, inspired by the classic Miami Vice,
Gangs of New York is a spicy yet creamy number with a Caribbean twist and dashes of rum, Pedro Ximinez and Creme de Banana. To round off the bar offering,
Nancy’s will of course be offering Taytos, and other classic Irish snacks.
Downstairs in
Nancy’s kitchen, a monthly changing guest chef provides sustenance to keep the
craic going – keep an eye on their Instagram for details of upcoming collaborations. As the sun sets,
Nancy Spain’s transforms into a lively cocktail bar, hosting live music four
times a week, Thursday through Sunday. It’s an invitation to let loose, stomp your feet, and revel in the lively beats until the early hours.
