National same day courier launches Brighton branch

National same day courier service Speedy Freight has announced the launch of Speedy Freight Brighton, led by new franchisees Noel and Daisy Goreham.

The courier company will operate in Brighton, Hove, Worthing, Eastbourne, Littlehampton, Lewes, Shoreham-by-Sea, Seaford, Hailsham, Hassocks and Arundel.

Launched in April, the branch is seeking to recruit 50 partner drivers across Brighton to join their experienced network.

The new branch location means Speedy Freight will now be able to offer express deliveries in Brighton, led by a local team. The team will be providing a same day dedicated service, as well as multi-drop deliveries through to temperature controlled transport and delivery crews.

Noel and Daisy Goreham are the dedicated team at Speedy Freight Brighton, building great customer experience through strong local relationships and understanding clients’ priorities at the forefront of their goals.

The pair have lived and worked internationally in the Middle East and Asia and bring a wealth of freight experience to the new franchise.

Daisy Goreham, General Manager at Speedy Freight Brighton said: “We’re so excited to launch Speedy Freight Brighton and expand our already fantastic network of drivers in the area.

“Noel and I have been so encouraged by the welcome we have received from so many new and existing customers. With the business now being locally owned and run with the strength of national brand backing, we look to continue with the Speedy Freight tradition in exceeding customers’ expectations, only now with direct Brighton interest and a local focus.”

The news comes after Speedy Freight recently announced a partnership with the Earth Restoration service, which aims to help achieve Earth Restoration’s goal to plant 50,000 trees and enough flowers to attract 20 million insects across 1,000 sites nationwide.

In conjunction with Earth Restoration Service, Brighton, along with other Speedy Freight branches, will support local schools and communities by readying them for planting events, arranging the transport of trees and provide educational materials and planting guides.
