New 100% Vegan Caribbean takeaway, Jam Delish opens in Tooting

A brand-new plant-based Caribbean takeaway has launched in Tooting, south London, Jam delish have created an innovative 100% vegan menu, without compromising on their delicious Caribbean flavours. This is an absolute must try for all vegans and foodies in general, as the unique menu includes traditional dishes such as –

  • Jerk ‘Chicken Wings’ on the ‘bone’ – A thin tofu wrap surrounds the Jerk marinaded seitan & soya based “Chicken” Wings, encasing a Sugar Cane skewer giving an authentic ‘chicken wing’ experience by eating them ‘off the bone’ whilst remaining 100% plant based.
  • Curry ‘Goat’  – Jam Delish have created their own vegan version of “Goat Meat” which is then slow cooked with fresh seasonal vegetables, and infused with the traditional Caribbean flavours of garlic, ginger, scallions, thyme and scotch bonnets to give that authentic Curry “Goat” taste.
  • Ackee and ‘Codfish’  – A staple Caribbean classic that is gently slow cooked with Ackee, their vegan version of “Codfish”, scallions, tomatoes, sweet bell peppers and scotch bonnets, and infused with hearty Caribbean spices.
  • Caribbean Curry ‘Prawns’ – A ‘seafood’ dish with big bold flavours – large and juicy ‘Prawns’ are simmered with crunchy peppers in a creamy coconut sauce, infused with garlic, thyme, ginger, scotch bonnets and curry spice.

In addition to their traditional Caribbean dishes Jam Delish also offer vegan ‘Bacon’ Mac N’ Cheese, Chicken Salt Fries and their dessert menu is not to be missed either – featuring the popular vegan Biscoff and Oreo cheesecakes – but get your order in quick, as these sell out every week.
